Wiese is the wizard of warehouses. Providing their clients with material handling equipment (forklifts, railcar movers, balers, and everything else a warehouse needs), safety training, and warehouse design, Wiese’s corporate office in St. Louis was due for its own redesign.

The entire office was renovated, but Wiese’s leadership wanted to drastically upgrade shared staff amenities, including the break room, training room, and conference areas, all while reinforcing the Wiese brand. The new space is light and airy, with a palette of white, warm grays, walnut wood, and pops of Wiese’s cheerful red. The new break room is an elegant renovation, featuring walnut casework, plenty of appliances for a busy office, and booth, bar, and table seating options. Some of the existing walls were removed to make the space more open and flexible for staff lunches and parties, and there is plenty of counter space for catering.

The state-of-the-art training room features a large projection screen, glass dry-erase marker boards, and movable power sources for trainees to power laptops throughout the room. Pops of Wiese red are tucked in alcoves next to the screen, and the Wiese “W” has been etched on the sliding glass doors. A large hospitality counter stretches along the back of the room with a drink refrigerator to keep trainees fuelled for learning.

The executive conference room is quietly outfitted with technology for presentations and web conferencing. Small microphones are suspended down the length of the table, and the ceiling is haloed by acoustical panels to minimize noise for web conferences. Warm leather chairs and a glass conference table with tabletop power and data ports round out the comfortable space.
