Embodying the raucous, family-friendly atmosphere James Beard award-winner Gerard Craft wanted, Pastaria features an open floor-plan and views to the bustling kitchen. We selected a bright yellow palette to infuse the airy space with a bright and happy feel that makes guests of all ages feel welcome. The design incorporates a retail area in the front of the restaurant, where artisans produce, package, and sell homemade pastas and gelato.
Pastaria shares space with Craft’s flagship Niche restaurant in the sleek Centene Building in Clayton, MO. The two restaurants share restrooms, kitchen components and a mezzanine level for private events.
