A local real estate company purchased a mid-century high rise across Grand from St. Louis University. Full of dated finishes and design, the new ownership wanted to make the building appealing to students. After rehabbing the apartments, our clients hired SPACE to design a new lower-level amenity area and new main-floor lobby and leasing offices. Our team also improved the residential corridors with a new paint scheme and lighting. 

The lower level was mostly vacant except for a laundry area, and our team worked closely with the owners to create a warm lounge and game area, a contemporary and bright fitness room, and a comfortable laundry area. 

Upstairs, the lobby received a new walnut and marble reception desk, walnut dividers, a new package pickup area, and renovated offices that quietly embraced the building’s mid-century heritage.
